We've been working hard to manage water supplies during this exceptionally dry period. To help protect our rivers and ensure water remains available for essential use, we need your help.
How the scheme works
By promoting our Every Drop Counts scheme to business customers, you can earn an incentive payment.
We will make a payment to retailers for each customer that completes the scheme and achieves the qualifying water saving target.

| Customers using 20 Ml or more | £100 |
| Customers using 0.5-20 Ml | £40 |
| Customers using less than 0.5 Ml | £20 |
Who is eligible
To be eligible for the Every Drop Counts scheme, you must:
- be the registered retailer for the eligible SPID(s) at the point the customer enrols
- only claim incentive payments for customers within the Wessex Water supply area who meet our eligibility criteria
- complete the application on behalf of the business customer.
What we need from you
Please share our Every Drop Counts scheme for business customers webpage with all eligible business customers in the Wessex Water supply area.
Your business customers must then provide you with:
- a first reading between 10 and 21 August 2026
- a final reading between 7 and 14 November 2026
They must also provide clear photos of the readings.
How to apply
Step 1
Submit their first meter reading no later than 21 August 2026.
Step 2
Submit their final meter reading between 7 and 14 November 2026.
